Child Protection & Development Specialist
Emmanuel Nyarko-Tetteh is a seasoned Child Protection and Development Specialist with over three decades of impactful experience as a child advocate, trainer, and programme manager. His expertise spans the design, implementation, and evaluation of child-focused interventions that promote safe, nurturing, and inclusive environments for children both at home and in school.
He is currently pursuing a PhD at Bielefeld University, Germany, where his research focuses on the effects of violence against children in home and school settings and its implications for their social-emotional development. His academic work aligns closely with his lifelong professional mission to ensure the protection and holistic development of every child.
At ECNG, Emmanuel provides strategic direction on child rights advocacy, protection-sensitive programming, and community capacity building, drawing on both empirical research and practical experience. His commitment to child-centred systems reform continues to inspire and shape ECNG’s national agenda.
